First full successful full cornea transplant done: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4502994.stm When the first transplants
were being done the thread used was a thick, heavy thread. Today the
thread being used is finer and lighter than a human hair, and actually will
float if dropped, and not fall to the ground. The most recent change in full cornea transplants is the way the graft is cut and the positioning of it. This is called the "top hat" way of doing a full transplant: http://www.pricevisiongroup.com/tophat.html Copyright FuchsSupport Owner. All Rights Reserved.
