Yahoo  changes any message

to such small light type that many have to
 
use a magnifying glass to read them.
 
MAIL your comments to:
They will then appear on everyone's computer just as you typed them.
 
 
 
My eyesight is poor so I change my E-Mails
 
to an  ARIAL, 14 point, BOLD.
 
I can read it better while I am typing. and, by
 
E-MAILING  to the address above, it appears in
 
the same more legible type.
 
   IF YOUR EMAIL IS OUTLOOK EXPRESS:
(email through Yahoo & Macintosh below)
 
Microsoft Outlook Express has the choice of
 
Font name, point size, Bold, Italic, etc
 
all in one line right above the blank MAIL page.
 
Other systems may have you go into TOOLS,
 
VIEW, or search around for ways to enlarge or
 
darken the type.
 
(THE WHOLE CLUE IS MAILING IT AS ABOVE.)

IF YOUR EMAIL IS WITH YAHOO:

To change fonts in Yahoo Mail:
 
1.  Go to Compose
 
2.  Click on Colors and Graphics (instead of Plain)
 
3.  A row of icons will appear.  Hold the cursor over each one and it will tell you what it is.
 
4.  If you click on the one that says Font Face, you will get a "drop down menu" where you can choose (click on) whichever one you want.  If you click on Font Size, you will likewise get a drop down menu of sizes.
 
5.  If you want it even darker, you can click on the B (for Bold).
 
6.  You can get even fancier and click on the T for Text Color, and/or the Smiley Face for "Emoticons". 
 
  Here is a sample of Comic Sans MS, Size 4, Bold, blue color, with a smiley face at the beginning.

If your Computer is a Mac computer

Changing Font for Netscape Email

Configuring Netscape Email
  • In Netscape, choose Options Menu
  • Click on Mail and News Preferences
  • Click on tab entitled Server
    • POP3 User Name: type in your login name.
      • For K-12 network users, this may be similar to -- slathest.
      • Check with you network administrator.
    •  
  • Click on tab entitled Identity
    •   
    • Click on the Composition Tab at top of screen.
      • Select fonts and styles if you want to change the appearance of the text in your e-mail.
    • Click OK to end. Mail preferences are now established.
